Top 5 Travel and Local Apps Performance in Slovakia Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the travel and local app market in Slovakia saw notable activity across several key applications, according to Sensor Tower data. Here's a closer look at the performance trends for the top five apps on the unified platform.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel started the quarter with weekly downloads of nearly 6K, gradually decreasing to around 2.5K by the end of September. Despite the decline in downloads, weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly but generally staying above 60K throughout the quarter.

Ideme vlakom exhibited a more dynamic download pattern. Beginning at approximately 3K downloads per week, the app saw an increase, peaking at over 5K downloads in early September before settling back to around 3.5K toward the end of the quarter.

Dopravná karta v mobile showed a substantial rise in weekly downloads, starting at about 1.5K and reaching a peak of over 11K by early September. This significant uptrend plateaued with a gradual decline to about 3.5K downloads by the end of the quarter.

ISIC also experienced a notable increase in downloads, starting the quarter with just over 650 per week and surging to more than 10K in early September. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, peaking at over 15K before seeing a slight decrease towards the quarter's end.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker maintained a stable revenue stream, averaging around $1.8K to $2.3K per week. Downloads, however, experienced a decline from approximately 2.9K to just under 1K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar downward trajectory, decreasing from over 10K to about 8.6K.
